PA Primary: Hillary Clinton held off elimination in the primary race. She won the Pennsylvania primary last night. Clinton's campaign was trying to prove she could win the big states like Pennsylvania in November, claiming Barack Obama could not. Clinton won by 10-points. Obama is calling the night a win in his own way, since he was able to make it a close race despite clinton's big lead at first. Clinton is still behind in the overall delegate count.
Todeschini Honored: Exactly 2 years after he was killed, a fallen State Trooper is being honored today. Trooper Craig Todeschini will be added to the Alumni Faces display at Onondaga Community College. Todeschini crashed on April 23rd, 2006 while he was chasing a speeding motorcyclist in Pompey. The motorcyclist, James Carncross, is now serving a 7 year prison term for his part in the crash.
Jazzfest Acts: The headline acts are being announced this morning for Jazz Fest. Last year's headliner, Aretha Franklin, brought in so many fans that some people had to be turned away. Jazz Fest is scheduled for June 27th and 28th this year. The 10am announcement isĀ at Onondaga Community College. Stay with Action News for details on who will be performing this summer.
