SYRACUSE -- Maggie McRobbie is back at Henninger High School, where she had been a three sport athlete. Now, she is a veteran teacher, working with ninth graders on “enhanced reading opportunities”. Her goal is to get them focused, understanding the literary elements that are involved in a good book.  Then, getting them to enjoy reading.

Congratulations to Maggie for her nomination as our Educator of the Week!

Not only is Maggie a great teacher, she is a wonderful mom as well-as her children's pediatrician, I can vouch for that! Proud to associate with a wonderful parent who balances work and family so well.

It's been my great pleasure to know Maggie both as a student & a colleague. From the moment she stepped into her role here as an English teacher, she has been extremely committed, exciting and motivating with her students. It is not often one meets a powerhouse like Maggie and I am pleased to be affiliated with her.
