CAMILLUS -- UPDATE: January 3, 2009 5:15 p.m.- Camillus Police have made an arrest in a fatal hit and run crash. 48-year-old Timothy L. Henry of Marcellus is charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, a Class D Felony.

Investigators say the victim, 24-year-old Erik S. Kohler of Solvay was walking eastbound on Milton Ave. when he was struck by Henry’s vehicle. Mr. Kohler was pronounced dead at the scene from injuries sustained in that collision.

Henry is being held in the Onondaga County Justice Center on $100,000 cash bail or bond.

Camillus Police are investigating a fatal hit and run accident that happened in the 4300 block of Milton Avenue around 2am. Camillus Police say a man was walking along Milton Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are still looking for the driver of the vehicle.
