MOHAWK, NY (AP) -- Three Mohawk Valley teenagers have been charged after a fourth teen was shot in the face during what authorities described as a deliberate "Old-West shootout."Montgomery County Sheriff Michael Amato says the incident occurred last Saturday at a camp in the town of Mohawk, 35 miles northwest of Albany.

Amato says five teenage males originally intended to go rabbit hunting, but instead decided to shoot at each other with shotguns. A 15-year-old boy was struck in the face by shotgun pellets. Amato says he was taken to an Albany hospital and is expected to recover.

The two 18-year-olds are charged with assault and reckless endangerment. A 16-year-old not involved in the shooting is accused of altering the crime scene.Amato says another 15-year-old boy also was involved.

Umm I don't think you read it completely right.
It was bb guns and pellets not guns and bullets.
Tons of teens have bbguns, adults don't go out && buy them for themselves usually. So they don't have to be keeping it and ammo out of teens hands.

Oh my lord, these teens are action out more on violence these days and it is getting worse everyday, where in god's name are they getting the gun's? and why aren't the parents for these kids getting charges as well it is there responsability to keep gun's and ammo up where these kids can't get to the stuff. I think the laws need to buckle down on parent's as well.
