If you think the sunshine is incentive to get skiers to the slopes, Song Mountain Resort in Tully is running a deal on top of that.

"We've got a couple of great deals here coming up in the month of March. Number one is if you buy a season pass for the rest of this season you get all of next season for free so you get two years for the price of one," says owner Peter Harris.

Harris says part of the reason for the special is the economy. He wants to keep skiers going down the mountain even if the economy keeps going downhill. The other reason, the snow. Harris says there's still a ton of skiing left. So far, about 50 families have signed up for the deal. Another deal going on is Friday Night Freakout on March 6. Lift tickets will cost $5 from 4 pm to midnight.

Even as the economy's tumbled - the business has remained solid footing.

"We've found because of the bad economy and the good winter we've had a great season," Harris said. "People have tended to ski locally rather than go to New England or out west we we've seen it go up quite a bit."
