SYRACUSE (AP) -- A Syracuse police officer who retired after supplying alcohol to a teenage boy is back in jail with no bail after authorities say they found drugs in his house.
Camillus police say 48-year-old Frederick Baunee was initially charged with misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child after neighborhood children told investigators he supplied them with drugs and cigarettes.
When police searched his home last Thursday, they reported finding psilocybin mushrooms and marijuana. He was charged Wednesday with felony drug counts.
Baunee was suspended in 2007 and later retired after being convicted of giving alcohol to a 14-year-old boy and inappropriately touching him. Baunee, who was on probation, is in jail Thursday and doesn't yet have a lawyer.
