Many voters in the 23rd Congressional district say they were turned off by the negative campaigning in the three way race.  Democrats, republicans and conservatives poured millions into the campaign which saturated the air waves with a number of attack ads.

After casting his vote in Fulton, Sigmund Hanczyk said there was "a lot of negativity and I don't go for that."  He said the candidates should be "presenting the issues."

Ann Marie Sterling said, "It got to the point you're so sick of seeing the advertisements you really don't want to vote for any of them"

Robert Lee said he didn't vote for any of the congressional candidates. "They lie so much, nothing they possibly can say is going to come true."

As if the ads weren't enough, thousands of voters have been subjected to political phone calls as well.  Lorelei Hanczyk said the calls were "a little disgusting...too many calls."
