Governor to make appointment

He's not saying anything until it's officially announced, but it looks like Syracuse's Mayor has a new job, once his City Hall term expires.  Governor Paterson, in Syracuse for a town meeting on Friday, confirmed that Matt Driscoll will be working for him, with an appointment  to a state board.  There's no word on when that appointment will be made.
