Lacona's Coterie Club is collecting community donations to the Memory Wreath, and plans to use the funds to repair the Clock Tower, which the club helped establish back in 1925.  The tower's upper brick work is in need of repointing.
Carol Wihera, with the group, says it's a community wide effort, and all the donors' names are read at the wreath lighting ceremony (think Christmas tree lighting, with a personalized touch) on Sunday, November 29th.  Donations can be sent to:  Dancy Ridgeway, Coterie Club president,  at 390 Bremm Road, Lacona 13083.  Checks payable to  Coterie Club, and they ask that you include your loved one's name.
