Teen accused of striking female with hammer

OSWEGO -- An Oswego County teen was arrested Friday after allegedly striking a female repeatedly with a hammer.

The Oswego County Sheriff’s Office tells Action News that 17-year-old Andres Perez III of County Route 3 in Hannibal is accused of injuring a female victim by hitting her on the wrist and arm with a hammer during a domestic incident.

Perez was arrested by Sheriff’s Deputies and charged with felony second degree assault. He was arraigned in Oswego Town Court and sent to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,00 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
