ONONDAGA COUNTY -- The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists of construction and maintenance related highlights for this week that may impact travel in Central New York:
On Monday, November 30, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., I-81 Northbound is reduced to one lane. The right and center lanes closed, from Exit 27/28 (Syracuse Airport/ Taft Road) to the Taft Road overpass to facilitate pavement repair operations.
On Monday, November 30 and Tuesday, December 1, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., I-81 Southbound is reduced to one lane approaching and passing under the Bartell Road overpass in Brewerton to facilitate bridge replacement operations. Access to and from Exit 31 (Bartell Road) will be maintained.
On Wednesday, December 2, Thursday, December 3, and Friday, December 4, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily, I-81 Northbound is reduced to one lane approaching and crossing under the Bartell Road overpass in Brewerton to facilitate bridge construction operations. Access to and from Exit 31 (Bartell Road) will be maintained.
