Police looking for Clinton Square bank robber

SYRACUSE -- Syracuse Police have reported the robbery of a bank in downtown Syracuse Thursday morning.

According to police spokesman Sgt. Tom Connellan, the M&T Bank at 101 South Salina Street in Clinton Square was robbed at around 9:10 a.m. Police say that suspect, seen in the attached surveillance photo, entered the bank and demanded money with a note.

The suspect was last seen running away from the bank, headed south on South Salina Street. He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Anyone with information on this suspect is asked to call the Syracuse Police Department at 315-442-5222.

According to Sgt. Connellan, there were two bank robberies in the city of Syracuse in all of 2009.
