SYRACUSE -- Onondaga County has a new list of its ten most wanted for 2010, and one of the names on this list has already been apprehended.

At a news conference Monday morning, Sheriff Kevin Walsh released the county's annual Ten Most Wanted list, and asked the public to be on the lookout for these men. They range in age from 17-50 years old and are wanted for a wide variety of crimes, from rape to DWI to armed robbery. Police say that many of these suspects should be considered armed and dangerous.

#1: Gary "Skip" LaTray (born 2/16/59) – Wanted in several states along the east coast for alleged armed bank robberies over the past six months. Was paroled locally after serving time for the robbery of an armored car company in DeWitt.

#2: Parawahsaman "Ten Bears" Deer (born 3/20/85) – Wanted for alleged armed robbery with three accomplices. He was armed with an AK-47 assault rifle on the Onondaga Nation reservation in 2005.

#3: Jesse C. Smith III (born 1/29/88) – Wanted for possession of crack cocaine and punching his girlfriend in the face.

#4: Joseph Santos (born 9/7/85) – Wanted for second degree rape of a 14-year-old female.

#5: Kurt VanDoren (born 6/11/71) – Wanted for driving while intoxicated with four prior DWI arrests dating back to 1991.

#6: Armondo Martinez (born 9/12/74) – Wanted for third degree rape after allegedly having sex with a 15-year-old.

#7: Francisco Rivera-Guzman (born 2/7/66) – Wanted for third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and in 2007 had drugs and ammunition seized from him via a drug warrant. He is the brother of Ramon Rivera, a member of the 2008 top ten list.

#8: Arthur R. Novell (born 5/17/79) - Wanted for second degree conspiracy in a drug case. UPDATE: The Sheriff's Office says that Novell was arrested around 1:00 p.m. Monday on Hall Avenue in Syracuse after the Onondaga County 911 Center received several calls regarding his whereabouts. Syracuse Police responded to the location, found Novell sitting in a car, and took him into custody.

#9: Alex M. Patchett (born 10/14/85) – Wanted for fourth degree grand larceny, also has seven pending felony and eleven pending misdemeanor charges against him, including charges in Cortland and Cayuga counties.

#10: Luis J. Quinones (born 5/28/92) – Wanted for third degree criminal sale of a controlled substance (CSCS).
