BALDWINSVILLE -- A local hockey coach was arrested Sunday and accused of inappropriate conduct with his female players.

State Police in Elbridge tell CNY Central that 50-year-old James M. Stocker of Pasture Gate Lane in Baldwinsville is charged with four counts of misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child. Troopers allege that Stocker, who was an assistant coach of the Lysander Lightning girls hockey team this past season, repeatedly entered the players’ locker room while they were getting dressed and undressed. He also allegedly compelled a player to undress in his presence and made various inappropriate comments to his players.

Police say Stocker was taken into custody without incident and released on an appearance ticket. He is scheduled for Town of Lysander Court on April 21 at 7:30 p.m.
