MIAMI, FL -- Another of Onondaga County’s ten most wanted criminals has been arrested, leaving just one fugitive remaining on the 2010 list.
According to the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office, Joseph Santos, listed as fugitive #4 on this year’s Onondaga County’s Top Ten List was arrested Wednesday evening in Miami, Florida.
The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Warrants Investigation Unit received notification from the Miami Police Department that they had arrested Santos and that he will be returned to Onondaga County to answer his charges.
Police say Santos was wanted for second degree rape and endangering the welfare of a child.
That leaves just one fugitive, Francisco Rivera-Guzman, remaining on the Top Ten List. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call 473-7625.
