Family and friends gathered to mourn the death of a teen who was gunned down on the city's southside.

17-year-old Kiwan Rush was shot and killed last week on the 100 block of Eastman Ave.

Saturday evening, mourners gathered at the spot of the shooting for a candlelight vigil to remember Kiwan.

His family expressed the importance of making changes in the community to keep kids off the streets.

32-year-old Tommy Davis was arrested and charged with murder.

Police say Rush and Davis had a long standing dispute.
