SYRACUSE -- A federal jury in Syracuse has reached a verdict in the case of three men connected to the death of a New Hartford police officer.

Marion Pegese, Toussaint Davis, and Robert Ward were all convicted of robbery, conspiracy, and murder in the shooting death of Officer Joseph Corr. He was killed while chasing suspects after a jewelry store robbery in New Hartford.

Corr chased Davis and another suspect, Walter Richardson, to a Byrne Dairy in Kirkland. Police say Richardson is the one who fired the fatal shot. He was killed in a shootout with U.S. marshals in Pennsylvania.

Davis is already serving a 300 year sentence. He was convicted in Oneida County Court of felony murder in 2007.
