DEWITT -- An arrest has been made in the case of a robbery at a local department store last weekend.
According to DeWitt Police, a man entered the Marshall’s store on Erie Boulevard Saturday afternoon and stole merchandise from the store. When confronted, the suspect threatened an officer with a knife before fleeing.
Police say they have arrested 39-year-old Anthony Morales of Gifford Street in Syracuse and charged him with one fount of first degree robbery, one count of criminal possession or a weapon, and one count of petit larceny. Police say he will be arraigned in DeWitt Town Court.

Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened at the Marshall's store on Erie Boulevard in DeWitt.
The robbery happened around 3:45 p.m. Saturday. Police say a man, described to be between the ages of 30 and 40 years old, stole merchandise from the store. When an officer confronted him, the suspected pulled a knife and threatened him with it.
