HANNIBAL, OSWEGO CO. -- 1:00 p.m. Update:
Fire destroys a sports supply business in Hannibal. The flames broke out shortly after 10 o'clock this morning to the business located at the corner of Route 104 and Stock Road.
Hannibal Fire Chief John Gombas says the flames moved quickly through the building, and his crew was hampered by high winds.
Chief Gombas says the owner informed him the building had a number of ammunition and other explosives inside, so crews watered down that part of the building to avoid an explosion.
It's likely to be several hours before the fire is completely out. No one was hurt.

Firefighters are on the scene of a structure fire on State Route 104 near the intersection of Stock Road in Hannibal. The call came in just after 10 a.m. this morning. It now appears part of the building has collapsed.
The building is described as a pole barn. It was once used as a business, but it's not clear if it's currently in use.
Oswego County 911 dispatchers say the fire is still going. There are 10 departments on the scene working to get the flames under control.
Our Jim Kenyon is on the scene and says it appears there's farm and outdoor equipment in the building. He says because of the rural location, firefighters had to truck in water. High winds and the lack of water are complicating firefighting efforts.
