Near drowning in Felts Mills on Saturday
FELTS MILLS -- State Police say a Jefferson County man is a hero for saving the life of a 15-month-old girl.
Kevin Woodard, from Evans Mills, was in his truck at a recycling center in Felts Mills Saturday when he saw the toddler bend to pick something up before falling into a backyard swimming pool.
Troopers say Woodard jumped a fence to pull the little girl out. She was not injured.
