Police want your help in solving Dewitt armed robbery

DEWITT -- Dewitt police are asking for the public's help in tracking down two suspects in an armed robbery overnight.

Police say a 21 year old East Syracuse woman and her 19 year old brother were walking on the side of the road at the intersection of Kinne Road and Winchester Road about 2:30 Thursday morning when they were confronted by two men. One of the men appeared armed with a silver hand gun.

Both victims were punched by the suspects and they eventually made off with the wallet of the 19 year old man.
The suspects fled in a silver car.

Here's the description Dewitt Police provided us:
Suspect #1: black male, approximately 18 years old, 5 foot 5 inches to 5 foot 6 inches tall, thin build, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, armed with a silver handgun.

#2 black male, approximately 18 years old, 5 foot 5 inches to 5 foot 6 inches tall, thin,
wearing a blue shirt and a baseball cap worn backwards.

Police ask anyone who may have information that can help their investigation to call 315-449-3640, or can e-mail information to tips@townofdewitt.com.
