SYRACUSE -- Police are on the lookout for multiple suspects after a separate stabbing and shooting in the city early Friday morning.

According to Syracuse police, around 1:25 a.m. officers responded to a report of a stabbing on the 300 block of Slocum Drive, which is on Syracuse University's south campus. Police say a fight broke out at a large party, and when they arrived they found a 19-year-old male who had been stabbed multiple times. Police say the victim was taken to Upstate University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Officers are not releasing the victim’s name at this time.

Then, around 3:35 a.m. police responded to a shooting on the 200 block of Grumbach Avenue. Officers say they found a 24-year-old man who had been shot in the leg. The unidentified victim was also taken to University Hospital with the non-life threatening injury.

So do you know anything about either of these cases? Police say their investigations are continuing, and anyone with any information is asked to call the Syracuse Police Criminal Investigation Division at 442-5222.
