AFGHANISTAN -- Two Fort Drum soldiers have been killed in the line of duty.
21-year-old Koran Contreras and 20-year-old Douglas Jeffries were both killed in Afghanistan when their unit was attacked with an improvised explosive device.
Contreras was a California native -- and leaves behind a wife and mother.
Jeffries -- also from California -- leaves behind a mother, father and step mother.
