UTICA -- Utica police need your help finding the car involved in a weekend hit and run crash that left a 11-year-old girl hurt.

It happened around 10:10 a.m. Saturday on North Genesee Street at the Broad Street on ramp.

The girl suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to an Albany hospital.

Deputies want you to take a close look at photos of a maroon colored 2001-2005 GMC Sierra pick up truck, which is similar to the truck involved in the crash. The truck appears to have a full sized bed and an extended cab. Police say the driver is a white man who was last seen traveling north on North Genesee Street. Police say the truck appears to have some type of brush guard on the front, but they aren't certain.

Can you help solve this crime? Call Utica police at (315) 735-3301. All calls can be kept confidential.
