WATERLOO, SENECA COUNTY -- Five Waterloo individuals were arrested following an investigation into a suspected methamphetamine distribution throughout the Waterloo and Seneca Falls area.
The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office says the three week long investigation ended Wednesday night. Police executed search warrants at two separate locations in the Village of Waterloo where five individuals were arrested.
According to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, the Narcotics Division developed information that methamphetamine was being trafficked and potentially manufactured at 54 Washington Street, Apartment Two, in the Village of Waterloo. Morphine was also being trafficked.
During the search of the Washington Street apartment, the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office says they discovered evidence of methamphetamine manufacture and sale, marijuana and numerous pills. A vehicle was also seized for alleged involvement.
According to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, methamphetamine was also being trafficked at a second location in the Village of Waterloo. The drugs found in a search of 97 Church Street were discovered to be linked to the drugs at Washington Street.
Police say that during the execution of the Church Street search warrant, drug paraphernalia and morphine were discovered along with stolen snowmobile parts from a previous and unrelated Sheriff’s Office case.
Frank A. Lagana, 39, and Marybeth Sears, 21, both of Washington Street, were charged with the criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance. Lagana and Sears are alleged to have sold methamphetamine and morphine on multiple dates.
Kley M. Greenfield, 28, of Church Street, was charged with the criminal sale of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a controlled substance, and unlawfully dealing with a child. Greedfield is alleged to have dealt meth while in the presence of a child.
Daniel R. Paulsen, 44, of Church Street, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawfully dealing with a child, and criminal possession of stolen property.
Anthony M. Lagana, 18, of Stark Street, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
All suspects have been arraigned. The investigation is continuing and additional charged are pending the analysis of evidence seized from the locations.
