IRA, CAYUGA COUNTY -- Cayuga County Sheriff's Department says they arrested three individuals alleged to be involved in a home invasion style burglary.

Police say the residence was specifically targeted.

Police say Derrick J. Sedore, 25, Caleb A. Pilkenton, 40, and Myron “Jay” Sierson, 29, are accused of invading 2342 Robinson Road in the Town of Ira on October 7.

According to Cayuga County Sheriff's Department, the three defendants made two entries into the residence of 23-year-old Zachary Grant.

Police say electronics, a shotgun and other items were stolen in a morning burglary that morning by the three defendants. When the three returned to the residence to retrieve evidence they had left behind, they encountered Grant who was home.

Police say a fight ensured and “resulted in Grant, Sedore and Pilkenston all being stabbed during a scuffle inside the residence.”

According to police, all three were treated for stab wounds and released from the hospitals by October 8th.

The defendants are charged with first and second degree burglary and are being held in the Cayuga County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash or $100,000 bond.

The investigation is continuing.
