SYRACUSE -- Onondaga County 911 reported a crash on I-81 South just north of the Spencer Street exit around 8 a.m. Thursday morning.
According to New York State Department of Transportation, 81-South was down to one lane at Exit 21, Spencer Street. One lane was closed for a few minutes with police on the scene.
The crash backed up 81-South during morning rush hour.
911 reported that there are multiple cars involved and an ambulance was sent to the crash. No injuries were reported.
