Search giant Google reports that the most popular Halloween costumes this year included Angry Birds, a popular mobile game, Black Swan, after the Oscar-winning film, and a baby pig named Olivia after a popular kids’ cartoon. Other Halloween search trends included candy corn, Lady Gaga costumes, and Captain America.
In other Google news, theWall Street Journal reported that Google announced the creation of 100 Celebrity Channels which will feature original programming by involving celebrities such as Ashton Kutcher, Amy Poehler, and Madonna among others. The new channels are expected to produce about 25 hours of new, original content a day and are due out next year.
