LIVERPOOL -- It's that time of year again -- a holiday tradition in Central New York kicks off for the season Monday.

Lights on the Lake is now in its 22nd year at Onondaga Lake Park.  The two-mile stretch of  illuminated, festive holiday displays draws thousands of people to Liverpool each year.

New this year, the walk through portion of Lights on the Lake has been extended a day, meaning you can see the displays on foot Monday and Tuesday night.  On Wednesday, you can even bring your pets.

The driving portion, that most of us have grown accustomed to, starts on Thursday night, from 5-10 pm.  It continues through January 8th, expect on New Year's Day.
