Syracuse police investigate bank robbery at Alliance Bank

SYRACUSE -- Syracuse police are investigating a bank robbery.

It happened around 9:08 a.m. this morning at the Alliance Bank at 1001 James Street.

The suspect is described as a white man, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, gloves and a black mask covering his face.

He took off with an undisclosed amount of cash and took off running northbound towards Highland Avenue.

Right now, detectives are trying to get photos from the bank.
