Auburn firefighters spent the after at the scene of a two alarm house fire on 45 Perry Street.   Fire dispatchers say a neighbor heard an explosion around 1:30 Friday afternoon. When firefighters arrived flames were shooting out the front windows of the home.    The second alarm had to be sounded to bring in another wave of help to put the fire out and keep it from spreading.

The one man home at the time of the fire got out safely. The property is owned by Andrew Nolin and Stacey Jackson Nolin.  Investigators are on the scene, but have yet to determine a cause.  Part of the investigation will include looking into ways the home is heated.
