SYRACUSE -- As couples all around CNY celebrate their love this Valentine's Day, some local businesses are seeing a boost.
At Sweet on Chocolate in Syracuse's Armory Square, you can find everything from chocolate covered fruit to chocolate covered potato chips! Workers tell CNY Central Valentine's Day is their busiest day of the year. (Watch: Brandon Roth visits Sweet on Chocolate)
The shop is expecting lines out the door. However, some shoppers do plan ahead. Petitjean Goodman, of Sweet on Chocolate, says, "A lot of people have been placing orders for fresh fruit, and they have placed orders for what their sweetie likes to make sure we have it and they can give it to them."
Workers at Sweet on Chocolate will help shoppers out if they're not sure what their significant other will want.
Valentine's Day is big for more than just candy stores. It is also one of the busiest for florists and their delivery vans. Many of them are facing higher gas prices at the same time.
