Truck pulling trailer stopped, then drove off
This car's owners is hoping someone saw the trailer-pulling truck that hit him on 81 in Saturday's snowstorm.
On Saturday afternoon, State Police shut down Route 81 southbound at the Jefferson-Oswego County line, after a multi-car crash during a snow burst.
Now, the owner of one of the cars is hoping for help in finding the vehicle that hit him. Kevin Stewart emailed this picture of his car, and says the dark truck pulling a white camper did stop, but then moved on. Troopers confirm the story---and say the truck drove off before no one got the truck's license plate. They're classifying it as a hit and run right now.
Anyone who can help identify the truck (which should have some damage from the Saturday afternoon crash) is asked to call State Police at 298-1444.
