NORTH SYRACUSE -- North Syracuse police arrest a man in connection with a rash of car break-ins.
According to police, the break-ins happened Wednesday night into Thursday. Police say cars on Van Mara Drive, Reddick Drive and Church Street were targeted. Stolen items included loose change, portable GPS units and portable music players.
Shayne Moran, 31, of Herbert Street, was charged with criminal possession of stolen property. He was taken to the Justice Center in lieu of 1,500 cash or bond.
Police say Moran was previously arrested back in November for committing multiple vehicle larcenies. He was out on bail when he was arrested on this current charge.
