Man shot in leg on Syracuse's south side

A shooting on Syracuse's south side sends one man to the hospital with a bullet wound to his right calf.

It happened around 9 pm Saturday on the 2000 block of South Salina Street.

Syracuse police said Curtis Williams, 18, is expected to be okay but is not cooperating with officers.

Police said witnesses reported hearing four to five shots in area and seeing a white vehicle leave scene.

Anyone with information on this shooting is asked to contact the Syracuse Police at 315-442-5222.
