SYRACUSE -- Syracuse Police say they've made an arrest in two bank robberies.  They say it is the same man who was behind two similar robberies in 2004.

Joe Davis, 54, of Lodi Street, has been charged with robbery, grand larceny, & criminal possession of a controlled substance.

According to police, Davis held up the Alliance Bank on James Street last Monday and the Citizens Bank in the Shop City Plaza on Tuesday.

Police say the suspect had been charged in 2004 for robbing the Bank of America on James Street and the same Citizens Bank and the same teller.

Davis was identified by eyewitnesses and also by detectives that had remembered him from the previous robberies.
