UTICA -- A Utica babysitter, who was recently fired, is accused of stealing from the family.

19-year-old Brenda Serviss, of Frankfort, and her boyfriend 21-year-old Carl Mitchell, of Utica, are accused of stealing an Xbox, TV, dirt bike and gun from the family.

Police say the Xbox was sold to a game center, and the TV was sold to a pawn shop in New Hartford.

Serviss is charged with burglary and grand larceny. Mitchell is charged with burglary, grand larceny and petit larceny.
