Man in critical condition after shooting on West Onondaga Street

SYRACUSE --

Syracuse Police are investigating a shooting that happened Monday night around 11:40pm in front of 1633 West Onondaga Street in Syracuse.

One man suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to Upstate University Hospital in extremely critical condition where he underwent emergency surgery.

The man’s name is not being released at this time.

Witnesses told police that an older model four door vehicle sped away from the scene after the shooting.

Police collected evidence at the scene and are asking anyone with information to call them at 315-442-5222. All calls will be kept confidential.
