DEWITT -- Two Blossvale brothers are accused of forging a prescription to get powerful painkillers.

28-year-old Forrest Halbritter and 30-year-old Aaron Halbritter are charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a forged instrument and falsifying business records.

State Police say the brothers presented a stolen/forged prescription in March to a pharmacist at Wegman's on James Street in DeWitt to get Oxycodone/Percocet.

The brothers were arraigned in the Village of East Syracuse Court and released. They are scheduled to be back in court at a later date.
