A manufacturer with two locations in central New York is leaving the area.

Clear Edge Filtration is moving its facilities in Skaneateles Falls and Moravia to a new plant in Tulsa, Oklahoma. That's where the corporate headquarters is located.

Operations will end at the central New York facilities within the first quarter of 2013.

180 jobs will be affected, according to Tom Young of Clear Edge. All current employees will be offered employment at the new center in Tulsa, according to a press release from Clear Edge.

Operations are moving to Oklahoma because of state incentives there, according to Young.

Company officials will meet with workers on Thursday and Friday to discuss severance packages and potential moves.

Clear Edge makes filtration products used in mining and wastewater treatment.
