Three arrested in Onedia County in drug bust

ROME -- Two drug bust leads to the arrests of two Oneida County men and a woman.

Rome police and the Oneida County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at 309 Cottage Street.

Police say they found 434 bags of heroin, more than an ounce of crack cocaine and $950 in cash.

30-year-old Kia Robinson, of 309 Cottage Street, and 29-year-old Shamel Green, of 109 Gold Street in Utica, are charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. They are being held at the Rome Police lockup pending an arraignment in Rome City Court.

Later in the day, around 1:30 p.m., police executed another search warrant, this time at 504 North George Street. Police say they found a small amount of crack cocaine. 41-year-old Brigitte Henderson is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. She is being held in the Rome Police lockup pending her arraignment in Rome City Court.
