Police asking public's help: 442-5222
Syracuse Police are asking for witness help in connection with two Sunday morning stabbings.
Syracuse Police are investigating two serious stabbing incidents from early Sunday morning, and they're asking for information from the public in both.
The first, at 12:30 Sunday morning at the Bada Bing strip club on Wolf Street, on Syracuse's north side, ended with a 22 year old man stabbed in the chest and abdomen.
Investigators say David Blaise, from Syracuse, was picking up a friend who worked there when he got into a fight with another man. Blaise is in serious but stable condition at University Hospital after emergency surgery. The suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black shirt and baggy jeans, beleaved a 20 to 30 year old Black or Hispanic man.
At 2:30 this morning, 26 year old Charvis Casanova, also from Syracuse, was stabbed in the chest and groin while at the Erie Lanes, on Erie Boulevard East. He was taken to Crouse Hospital in a private vehicle and is now in critical but stable condition. Police found employees cleaning up the victim's blood inside the bowling ally, but no one could provide suspect information.
