FAYETTEVILLE -- A Fayetteville woman admitted to selling prescription drugs to kids out of her home.

Edith Crofoot, 69, pleaded guilty to criminal sale of a controlled substance in Onondaga County Court Tuesday morning. Police say she was selling to kids on Hobson Avenue, which is about a mile away from Jamesville-DeWitt High School.

The judge promised Crofoot a sentence of no more than three months in jail and five years on probation.

When Crofoot was arrested in May, the SPCA also had to take 30 cats out of her home.
