Downtown Syracuse is adding a little spice to this summer's events.
Twist Ultra Lounge and Dance is offering free Salsa dance lessons on Thursday nights from 9:00pm to 10:00pm.
CNY Salseros, a local salsa dance company, is sponsoring the lessons at the club located on West Genesee Street.
The free lessons are part of Twist's Latin Dance Night, also known as Muevte!
In addition to Salsa lessons, the club offers open Latin Dancing from 10pm until closing.
Dave Sorensen, Director for CNY Salsero's, says Salsa is a dance that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and ability. "We always look forward to seeing new faces," he says.
"Our motto is if you can walk, you can dance, let us prove it to you," Sorensen says.
