Competitive eating champion Takeru Kobayashi joins Hofmann Hot Dogs

Japanese eating sensation Takeru Kobayashi announced today that he will be a business partner and brand ambassador for locally owned Hofmann Hot Dogs.

Kobayashi's won numerous competitive eating titles during his career, and last year he ate a 69 hot dogs in 10 minutes...a world record.

He will have his own brand of hot dogs, stemming off of the Hoffman line, that will have his likeness on the packaging, and will actually be designed be Kobayashi himself.

The company plans on making their brand not only national, but will reach to Kobayashi's international roots in Japan as well. Kobayashi says he chose Hofmann Hot Dogs because he liked the taste of their product.
