LIVERPOOL -- An unusual sight on the New York State Thruway today.
A horse trailer burned to the ground on the toll highway in Liverpool near the bridge over route 370.
Firefighters got to the scene quickly, but there was not much left of the trailer.
Luckily both horses were able to make it out in okay shape.
There were minor traffic on the highway, as firefighters worked at the scene.
