Mass filled up this morning inside St. Mary's Church.
JAMESVILLE -- St. Mary's Church is back open after a long battle with Syracuse Diocese, in which parishioners even appealed to the Vatican for help.
The diocese shuttered the doors of the church in 2007.
Parishioners came out to Jamesville Wednesday morning for a mass celebrating The Feast of the Assumption of Mary.
The turnout around 7:45 Wednesday morning was huge, with all pews filled and some even standing on the porch entrance.
