Christopher Maimone was arrested after attempting to rob a florist in Manlius.

MANLIUS -- Manlius Police responded to a report of armed robbery around noon on Thursday at The Wild Orchid, a local florist.
Thirty-year-old Christopher Maimone reportedly showed a knife and demanded money from a store employee. He did not receive any cash before fleeing to his car.
No customers or employees were injured. Maimone was identified and found at his home in Fayetteville shortly after the incident, where police took him into custody.
Maimone is charged with attempted robbery and criminal possession of a weapon.
