LIVERPOOL -- Firefighters and EMS workers from around New York state came to Liverpool on Friday for an annual convention of the Fireman's Association of the State of New York.
A memorial service was held at the Liverpool Holiday Inn to remember those emergency responders who lost their lives.
The memorial service is held every year at the convention.
The convention also recognizes outstanding service members and addresses the concerns of emergency workers across New York.
