Here is some of the critical information parents and students need as the new school year begins in Central New York:
Syraucse: The Syracuse City School District begins the 2012-13 school year on Tuesday, September 4. All students, with the exception of Fowler HS students, are to report to school on Tuesday the 4th. At Fowler, only the 9th grade students are to report on the 4th at 7:50 AM for a special orientation of the newly remodeled high school. Fowler 10th grade students will attend on Wednesday, September 5th in the morning only from 7:50 AM to 10:50 AM. Fowler 11th grade students will attend in the afternoon from 11:20 AM to 2:20 PM. All Fowler students will report on Thursday, September 6 at 7:50 AM with a special orientation of the building for seniors taking place that morning.
Utica: 9th Grade Orientation, Tuesday September 4th. First Day of School for all Students is Thursday Sept 6, 2012.
Oswego: Wednesday is the First Day of School for students.
Cazenovia: Tuesday is First Day of School for students.
Jordan-Elbridge: First day of school in Jordan-Elbridge is Tuesday, Sept. 4.
West Genesee: Wednesday is First Day of School - Half-Day for Students Grades 1-12 (attend in morning)/Staff Workshops in Afternoon.
Liverpool: Tuesday, September 4th is First Day of School.
Phoenix: Tuesday, September 4th is First Day of School.
Cortland: Wednesday September 5th is First Day of School.
